Wilma (Westerman) Mohr

Mrs. Wilma Mohr, age 88 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 5:35 pm on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at the St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Tom Emmerson officiating. Burial will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.

Wilma was a member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church and retired from National State Bank.

Wilma is survived by her daughter, Debbie Kruger and husband Stanley of Metropolis, IL; grandchildren, Misty Sanderson and husband Stephen of Reidland, KY and Marcus Kruger of Metropolis, IL; great grandchildren, Braxton and Bronson Sanderson; sister, Thelma Kellett of Sikeston, MO; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Lois Evelyn Westerman and Marilene Westerman both of Metropolis, IL.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Alvena (Meyer) Westerman; husband, Virgil H. Mohr; brothers, Laverne Westerman and Walter Westerman.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 27th, from 1:30 pm to 3 pm at the St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church.

Memorials may be made to St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 6874 Midway Road, Metropolis, Illinois 62960.

Pallbearers will be Marcus Kruger, Stephen Sanderson, Jason Agee, Adam Westerman, Donnie Koch, Gavin Riepe
