William "Billy" Rose

William “Billy” Rose, 78 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024 at the Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Shedville Cemetery with Rev. David Deem officiating. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Billy was an easy-going, friendly man who never met a hand he didn’t shake. He was of Christian faith and loved going to church. He enjoyed coloring, word searches, movies, music and going out to eat.

Billy is survived by his cousins, Jeff and Deneal Bullock, Mike and Amy Bullock, and Charlotte Parks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Kerr and Floella Kerr and his loving sister, Dollie Kemper.
