William “Bill” Decker Jr., 72 of Grantsburg, IL, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Arrangements will be set at a later date.

Bill was an employee at Pockets on Cairo Rd. in Paducah, KY, and loved his job. He was a member of Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall in Metropolis and a U.S. Marine veteran that served in Vietnam. Bill loved to fish and jump on his tractor to mow the fields.

Bill is survived by his wife of 44 years, Brenda Decker; daughter, Linda Taylor and husband Louis; son, William Decker III and wife Melissa; 6 grandchildren, Trent, Haylee, William, Kristofer, Keith and Makayla; 3 great grandchildren, Bailey, Carly Ann, and Jaxsyn; 1 sister, Patty; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lydia Decker Sr. and 5 brothers and sisters.
