Virgil Lee Gill

Virgil Lee Gill, passed away at age 61 on December 13, 2023 at River Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Paducah, KY. He was born on July 29, 1962 in Kankakee, Illinois.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis, IL, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Virgil is survived by his two children, Kasey Stamme (Brady) and Nathanual Gill; two brothers, Gale R. Gill (Bonnie) and Hank E. Gill (Elizabeth); three sisters, Opal A. Roberts, Patricia A. Gill and Myra L. Clifton; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. Gill and Mary E. Jennings Gill; sisters, Faye Morgan and Ruth Craig.

He will be missed.
