Thomas Harry Grimes, age 70 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024 at his residence.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Thomas is survived by his son, John Grimes and wife Erika Miranda; grandsons, John Miguel Grimes and Luke Daniel Grimes; sister, Marilyn Gaston; half-sisters, Bobbie Jo and Christine; several nieces and nephews.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Imogene (Woodside) Grimes; sister, Carolyn Reddick Kruger; half-sister, Deborah.
