Terri Melvin

Terri Ann Melvin, age 70, of Metropolis, Illinois, formerly of Los Angeles, California, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, December 29, 2024, at her residence.

Terri was retired from the United States Postal Service. She was known for her love of classic movies and TV, as well as her passion for mystery novels. A kind and devoted caregiver, Terri was a loving girlfriend, a sweet bonus mother, and a treasured friend. Her warmth and compassion left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.

Services:
Private memorial events will be held in her honor in Metropolis, Illinois, and Long Beach, California.

Survivors:
Terri is survived by her bonus daughters: Jessie Jane Gutierrez, Morgan Siebert, Jacqueline Hambrick, and Karie Hambrick. She also leaves behind her beloved pets: Marnie, CornDog, Little One, Sixtoes, Nugget, Frankie, and Beans.

Preceded in Death By:
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Clifford and Josephine Angeline (Loncaric) Melvin, and her beloved companion, James “Jim” Hambrick.
