Tammy Smith

Tammy Smith, 52 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Massac Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Bro. Justin Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in Round Springs Cemetery.

Tammy worked for 6 years for LYNX services as a manager. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she played the piano. She loved to work puzzles, sew and crochet and always had a project going. She was a loving wife, mother and daughter and is going to be deeply missed.

Tammy is survived by her father, Jerry McCoy; husband of 33 years, Stephen Smith; son, Markus Smith and wife Jamie; daughter, Leslie Smith; father-in-law, Ray Smith; and brother-in-law, Raymond Smith.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy McCoy and mother-in-law, Nancy Smith.

Visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 10th, 2025.

Memorials may be given in Tammy’s name to Macedonia Baptist Church, 3980 Macedonia Church Road, Metropolis, IL 62960.
