Shanna Kay Hooks, age 45 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at her residence.

There will not be any services.

Shanna was known for her beautiful smile. She was a loving person who always tried to help others. She loved horse back riding, fishing, camping, and looking at the moon. She was free spirited and liked to go on nature walks. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. Her laugh was contagious and her smile could light up a room. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Shanna is survived by her grandmother, Brenda Butler; father, Billy Bradford; children, Nathan Hooks, Kayelynn Hooks, and Jamey McDonald; granddaughters, Harper Hooks, Mia Hooks, Emry Hooks, and Khylani Hooks; sister, Misty Bradford Robinson; brother, Matthew Bradford; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Shanna was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Butler.
