Ryan Carnes

Ryan Carnes, 20 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025 at his home.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.

Ryan enjoyed playing video games, especially X-Box, fishing, watching movies, eating, traveling, and being with family.

Ryan is survived by his mother, Crystal Carnes (Frank Latham); father, Kennth Carnes, Jr.; paternal grandmother, Sharon Lang; maternal grandparents, Donald and Carolee Evans; siblings, Chandler Carnes, Samantha Mitchell (Robert), Christopher Carnes, and James Vickery; aunts and uncles, Mark and Nancy Stern, Jonathan and Penny Payne, Billy English and Tracy Cougill and their families; great uncle, Jim Yates; dear friend, Chris Ballou.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfathers, Donald Lang and Kenneth Carnes Sr.; maternal grandfather, Robert English; uncle, Denny Carnes; aunts, Amanda English and Glenda Turner; and stepbrother, Frankie Latham.
