Roberta Damron

Roberta Damron, age 63 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 3:04 am on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Massac Memorial Hospital.

A celebration of life will be held at 7:30 pm on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Sielbeck officiating.

Roberta was a member of Grace Church of Second Chances in Metropolis.

Roberta is survived by her husband of 30 years, Stephen Damron; two daughters, Angel Scheidler and Stella Eickleberry; one son, James Eickleberry and wife Sarah; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild on the way; several nieces and nephews.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, James Gamble and Karolyn (Mathis) Hooker; two sisters, Kathy Hooker and Teki Marshall; one brother, James Gamble, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Thursday evening January 5, 2023 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.
