Robert "Stud" Lang

Robert “Stud” Lang, age 76 of Hillerman, Illinois passed away at 9:49 am on Monday, December 15, 2025 at the Massac Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.

Robert was a retired River Pilot.

Robert is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Lang; daughters, Elaine Cohoon (William), Jennifer Herring, and Sally Lang (Robert Miller); sons, Robert Lang, Jr. (Kim), Chad Lang, Raymond Lang (Kim), and Andrew Lang (Kortney); 18 grandchildren, Colton, LeeAnn, Channing, Paxton, Mikayla, Tanner, Christopher, Chase, Drake, Cheyenne, Isabella, Logan, Keaton, Jacob, Miracle, Abigail, Bricley, and Riley; 9 great grandchildren, GraceLin, Bentley, Kaden, AJ, Cage, Addie, Rory, Dani, and Jax; sister, Mary Hicks; brothers, William Lang and Billie Joe Lang; several nieces and nephews; canine companions, Maggie and Coop.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Bill Lang; mother, Ruby (Hensley) Lang Turner; step father, Matthew Turner; sister, Linda Rickman; brother, Kenneth Lang.
