Robert "Buddy Man" Gallagher

Robert “Buddy Man” Gallagher, 68 of Metropolis, IL, passed away at his residence on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

There will be no services per his wishes, but he requested that donations be given to Project Hope Humane Society in the form of bagged dog food. Monetary donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 125, Metropolis, IL 62960. 

Buddy Man was the maintenance supervisor at Massac Memorial Gardens for many years.

Buddy Man is survived by his brother, Glen Gallagher and wife Marilyn; sister, Janie Coffman and husband Keith; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert “Bob” and Dorothy Dean (Greene) Gallagher; and sister, Dorinda Hankins.
