Rayma Sue Parmely

Rayma Parmely age 79 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 9:47 pm on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center with her family by her side.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Rayma had worked as a cashier at Kroger, was a member of Victory Full Gospel, and served her country in the United States Army.

Rayma is survived by her daughter, Sherry Jenkins and husband Clayton; grandchildren, Stacey Owens, Stephen Owens and wife Olivia, and Amethyst Frank and husband Matthew; great grandchildren, Liam, Paisley, and Mason Owens, Haylee Collins, and Riley Colson.

Rayma was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Smith; mother, Delores Vannier; husband, James Parmely; her grandmother; 1 sister; several brothers.
