Phyllis Reynolds

Phyllis Reynolds, 84 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Massac Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 20, 2023 at the Zion Evangelical Church with Pastor David Krueger and Pastor Jim Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery.

Phyllis was the cook at Franklin Elementary School for 27 years and a lifetime member of Zion Church. She enjoyed quilting and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. She was a loving and godly wife, mom, grandma, sister and aunt who will be missed.

Phyllis is survived by her sons, Dwight Reynolds and Tim Reynolds and wife Terri Jo; two grandchildren, Courtney Bremer and husband Jason and Jordan Reynolds; two great grandchildren, Reed Bremer and Leighton Bremer; one sister, Wilma Ford; one brother, Kenneth Teckenbrock; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Clara Teckenbrock; husband of 56 years, Tommy Reynolds; one great granddaughter, Reagan Jo Bremer; brother, Marvin Teckenbrock; sister, Lois Logeman; in-laws, Oliver and Etta Reynolds.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am at the Zion Evangelical Church on Monday, November 20th, 2023.
