Phyllis Hodge

Phyllis Hodge, 95 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Southgate Health Care Center.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 in Masonic Cemetery with Dr. Joe Buchanan officiating. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Phyllis was of Methodist faith, enjoyed cross stitching and was an avid reader and wildlife watcher.

Phyllis is survived by her nieces and nephews, Meryl Ann Cupp of Paragould, AR, Bob Hodge of Paragould, AR, Phyllis Miller of Metropolis, Marsha Rice of Metropolis, Shelly DeCaprio of Paducah, KY, and Roger Korte of Metropolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Edna Mae (Bivins) Hodge; sisters, Helen Parkins and Ruth Korte; and brother, Robert Hodge.
