Norma S. Tapley, age 83 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 10:45 am on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital.
Services will be held at a later date.
Norma was a member of the First Baptist Church in Metropolis.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Lisa Martin and husband Michael; grandchildren, Zachary Martin and wife Tiffany and Shelby Martin; great grandchildren, Annie Martin and Shane Martin; sister, Velma Corzine; several nieces and nephews.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Irvin and Grace Elizabeth (Tinsley) Henry; husband, Donald R. Tapley; 5 sisters, Alice Bass, Jenny Wise, Dorothy Bass, Mary McClelland, and Edith Miller; 3 brothers, Wayne Henry, Lynn Edward Henry, and Charles Henry.
Memorials may be made in Norma’s name to Project Hope Humane Society, P.O. Box 125, Metropolis, Illinois 62960.
