Nathan William Bacon

Nathan William Bacon age 63 of Louisville, Illinois passed away at 4:29 pm on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at his home. He was born on August 5, 1961 in Metropolis, Illinois the son of John O. Bacon Sr. and Peggy L. Bacon.

A private ceremony will be held at a later date.

Nathan had a deep love of his family and friends. He also loved the outdoors and nature. He had a special knowledge of all the wildlife around him and they shared a deep trust of him and his nature.

Nathan is survived by his brother, John O. Bacon, Jr. and wife Toni; sisters, Sharon Windhorst and husband Everett and Abilene “Abbie” McKnight and husband Paul; nephew, John O. Bacon III; nieces, Danica Hebert and Emily Windhorst; great nieces and great nephews, Natalie Hebert, John O. “Jeb” Bacon IV, Teagan Bacon, and Madison Bacon.

Nathan was preceded in death by his parents, John O. Bacon, Sr. and Peggy L. (Troutt) Bacon and his grandparents.
