Mollijean (Brinkley) Frazier

 Mollijean Frazier passed peacefully on Friday, August 16, 2024.  She is survived by her daughters, Carsa Spaude of Paducah, Kentucky and Theresa Stephens-Bremer of Brookport, Illinois; sister, Carsa Hedger of Harrisburg, Illinois; as well as several nieces and nephews and their children. 

Mollijean was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Ernestine (Gardner) Brinkley; husbands, Charles Stephens and Dr. Ralph Frazier; son-in-law, Everett D. Bremer; brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Shirley Brinkley; sister and brother-in-law, Reverend Vernon and Sadie Wasson; brother, Bob Brinkley; sister-in-law, Shirley Brinkley; brother-in-law, Doyle Hedger; as well as two beautiful nieces and one great-niece.

Mollijean was born and raised in the small town of Muddy, Illinois.  She was very proud of this community and for many years coordinated the annual "Muddy Reunion".  The history of family and friends was a passion and she spent many "vacations" travelling to research family history.

Another passion of Mollijean's was her love and desire to continue to learn and educate.  She was a teacher at Jefferson Elementary teaching 7 and 8th grades combined.  Her favorite subjects to share with her students were government and English.

Upon her marriage to Ralph, she retired from teaching and ran his medical practice office.

Aside from her passion for genealogy and education, she enjoyed reading, traveling, and politics.
