Michael "Jason" Kommer

Michael “Jason” Kommer, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with his parents by his side.

Per his wishes there will not be any services.

Jason was a Dad first and foremost. He loved his children beyond measure. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed anything outdoors. He had numerous family and friends that adored him.

Jason is survived by his children, Jacqueline Malone (Dakota), Owen Kommer, and McKenzie Kommer; his parents, Mike Kommer (Dianne) and Missy Dean (Marshall); sister, Miss Elam; niece, Makayla Elam; aunts, Reita McCoy, Sue Smith, and Vickie White; uncle, Leo Martin.

Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lindell and Judy Kommer and Melvin and Rosetta Martin.
