Melissa Rupcke

Melissa Ann Rupcke, age 57 of Metropolis, Illinois formerly of Livingston County, Kentucky passed away at 5:11 pm on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at her residence while surrounded by her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the Paducah First Church of the Nazarene.

Melissa loved flowers, hummingbirds, and was a nurturing individual. She had worked as a meter reader for Jackson Purchase Electric and as a waitress for the Iron Kettle and Patti’s.

Melissa is survived by her father, George Meadows; two daughters, Deonna Padgett and Ann Meadows; 2 step daughters, Tammy Griggs and husband James and Jennifer Misiewicz; 8 grandchildren, Destiny Myers, Dawson McCoy, Joseph Myers, Corey Minton, Clayton Misiewicz, Treavor Minton, Elijah Noles, and Kylesey Noles; sister, Vanessa Dummitt and husband Thomas; brother, George W. Meadows Jr. and wife Stacey; 3 nephews, Brandon Meadows, Joshua Dummitt, and Jacob Dummitt.

Melissa was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn (Pullen) Blomer and step father, William “Willie” Blomer.

Memorials may be made in Melissa’s name to the Paducah First Church of the Nazarene, 2626 Adams Street, Paducah, Kentucky 42003.
