Lynn (Helton) Markham

Lynn (Helton) Markham, age 70 of Brookport, Illinois formerly of Glenview, IL, Chicago, IL, and Antioch, IL passed away at 1:09 am on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

There will not be any services.

Lynn was retired from the Cook County Courts where she worked as a Court Clerk. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Glenview, played softball, and worked at a roller rink.

Lynn is survive by her husband of 25 years, Danny Markham; step son, Kyle Allen Nowack and wife Erica; grandchildren, Eric Nowack, Evan Nowack, and Emma Nowack; siblings, David Helton (Linda), James Helton (Lori), Lori Clancy (Michael), and Lisa Helton (Greg); beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews with whom she was very close; brother-in-law, Michael Branham; sisters-in-law, Cathy Branham Marinkovic (Pete) and Linda Peterson (Bob).

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Paul and Lois Bernice (Lapinski) Helton; brothers-in-law, Paul Branham and Donald Markham; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Branham and Nan Branham.
