Lawonda Willis Obituary

Lawonda J. Willis, 81 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Southgate Health Care Center.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Lawonda is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles Willis; children, Richard Webb, Leeann Henley and husband Adron, Karla Williamson and husband Eric and Tammy West and husband Brad; grandchildren, Peyton Pergandy, Garret Henley (Mackenzie), McKenzie McCarver, Mercedes Lunsford (Colton), Laken Webb, Cortney Webb, Brent West and Blair West; great grandchildren, Avery Henley, Rhett Lunsford, and one on the way; sister, Judy Arrison; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Effie (Arensman) Linders; grandparents, George and Amelia Arensman; brother, Dennis Linders; nephew, Lacy Arrison.
