Kenneth "Kenny" Rucker

Kenneth “Kenny” Rucker, 54 of Golconda, IL, formerly of Andalusia, AL, and Metropolis, IL, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Deaconess Illinois Medical Center in Marion, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home. Burial will follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery with military rites.

Kenny was a United States Army Veteran serving in the 82nd Airborne during Desert Storm. He was a happy-go-lucky guy of Christian faith who never met a stranger. Kenny loved his Lord, his daughter and his family. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was at the beach or riding a four-wheeler. Kenny loved attending Active Day in Marion, drinking Dr. Pepper and eating Mexican food. He was loved by many and is going to be sorely missed.

Kenny is survived by his daughter, Karrisa Hart and husband Danny; granddaughter, Alice Josephine; siblings, Richard Rucker, Vickie Myrick, Laura English and husband Danny, and Shannon Leonard and husband Nathan; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Rucker Jr. and Sharon (Gross) Rucker; grandparents, Kenneth and Viola Gross and Elsie McMurtry.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 21st from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
