Juanita (Reynolds) Wilder

Juanita Wilder, 98 of Brookport, IL, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Private graveside services will be held.

Juanita graduated from Draughon’s Business College of Paducah. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Brookport. She retired from the Brookport Post Office as Postmistress in 1985 after 20 years of service. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling all over with her husband, Jimmie. Juanita enjoyed spending time with her family most of all and is going to be greatly missed.  

Juanita is survived by her two daughters, Jan Wilder of Brookport and Jeri Ann Hall and husband Glenn of Brookport; four grandchildren, Sage Kitchen, Mission Thomas, Will Thomas, and Tyler Hall (Ali); three great grandchildren, Calla Kitchen, Sienna Kitchen and Nash Hall; two beloved nieces, Brenda McGrew (Terry) and Jeanie Walters (Lanny); great nephews, Bob McGrew (Irene), Steven Walters (Toni), Michael Walters (Lorelei), and Thomas Walters (Tanna); great nieces, Kristi Ritchie, Melissa Young (Bart), and Tanya Walters; numerous great-great nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harlan and Mandy (Palmer) Reynolds; husband of 71 years, Jimmie Wilder; one brother, Thurman Reynolds; one niece, Nancy Lee; and one great nephew, Jeff Walters.
