Joe Duckworth

Joe Duckworth, 83 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at NHC Healthcare in Murfreesboro, TN.

A private graveside service was held.

Joe was retired from Western Baptist Hospital after 30+ years as an X-Ray Technician. He appreciated quiet and reflective activities such as bow hunting deer, fishing and coin collecting and loved to watch the St. Louis Cardinals and UK basketball.  

Joe is survived by his daughters, Missy Durrett and Joey Turner and husband Joe; grandchildren, Nicholas Durrett, Alison Durrett, Sam Turner and Sophie Turner; one brother, Paul Duckworth.

He was preceded in death by his mom, Grace Duckworth; wife, Patty (Brenningmeyer) Duckworth; and 4 siblings.
