Jerry G. Moore, age 85 of Paducah, Kentucky formerly of Metropolis, Illinois passed away peacefully on Friday, July 26, 2024 at his home.

Graveside services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens with Rev. Stephen Heisner officiating.

Jerry retired from Electric Energy Inc as a machinist and was a member of Heartland Church in Paducah, KY.

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Vicki Bowman and husband Kerry of Metropolis, IL; son, Jeff Moore and wife Sherry of Eddyville, IL; grandchildren, Tyler Moore (Abby) of Simpson, IL, Curt Rhymer (Destiny) of Port Matilda, PA, Nathan Rhymer (Brittany) of Creal Springs, IL; great grandchildren, Addy and Wyatt Moore, Jude, Sophia, Ryley, Sullivan, and Logan Rhymer; sister, Jeanette Jones (Charlie) of Pulaski, IL; brother-in-law, Joseph Canada (Juanita) of Manteno, IL; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Rose (Canada) Moore; parents, Willard “Dutch” and Ruth (Ablett) Moore of Grand Chain, IL.
