James "Jimmy" Robert Rodgers

James Robert “Jimmy” Rodgers, 85 of Metropolis, IL, stepped into eternity on November 8, 2022.

Jimmy gave his heart to Jesus as a young man at Beulah Camp and was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. Jimmy loved his farm and family and will be missed.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 11, 2022 at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Metropolis with Rev. Pete Ryan officiating. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

“The only thing that matters in this life is what we do with Jesus.”

Memorial contributions may be given in Jimmy’s name to Powers United Methodist Church.
