James "Jimmie" Duncan

James “Jimmie” Duncan, age 83 of rural Brookport, Illinois passed away at 7:20 pm on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Lutheran Church of the Cross with Rev. David Deem officiating. Burial will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.

Jimmie was a member of Lutheran Church of the Cross and retired from Northwest Airlines after 37 years.

Jimmie is survived by his wife, Carroll Duncan; one son, Dave Duncan and wife Pam; one stepson, Steve Seavert and wife Kerri; two grandchildren, Nicole and David; two step grandsons, Joshua and Jared; one great grandchild, Zarak; one brother, Ray Duncan and wife Kristine; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Opal (Craig) Duncan; 1st wife, Katherine Duncan; one sister, Bonnie Reed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20th from 10am to 12 noon at Lutheran Church of the Cross.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis.
