Obituary
Georgette “Jet” Heavrin, age 71 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 7:20 pm on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at her residence.
Per her request there will not be any services.
Georgette is survived by her son, Mark Heavrin and wife Heather; daughters, Carmen Horacek and Susan Lyons; grandchildren, Joey Cantu, Alyssa Heavrin, Joshua Heavrin, Finlea Heavrin, and Sawyer Heavrin; several sisters; one brother; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Georgette was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Marcella (Cerny) Racevice and one son, Anthony Heavrin.
Memorials may be made in Georgette’s name to the Special Olympics.
