Frank Sommer Obituary

Mr. Frank A. Sommer, age 54, of Metropolis, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at his home.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Frank had worked for the City of Metropolis for many years.

Frank is survived by his father, Amos Sommer and stepmother Irma of Metropolis; sons, Kevin B. Sommer, Scott A. Sommer and Dustin C. Sommer all of Metropolis; sister, Renee Sexton of Metropolis; brother Michael Wayne Sommer and wife Trace of Paducah; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; 3 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lottie (Murphy) Lane and stepfather, Charles G. Lane; wife and love of his life, Lesa Sommer.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis.
