Ernie Conder

Ernie Conder, age 68 of Brookport, Illinois passed away at 7:30 am on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home.  Pastor Ron White and Minister Connie Webb will officiate. Burial will follow at Luther Chapel Cemetery in Johnson Co., IL.

Mr. Conder was a retired commercial fisherman as well as a retired 1st mate for Valley Line Towing. Ernie was a member of New Bethel Free Will Baptist Church.

Ernie is survived by his wife, Vicky (Schnaare) Conder; son, Justin Conder and wife Sarah; daughter, Sheila Harper; grandchildren, Kyle Cunningham, Christopher Cunningham, Jacob Conder, Dylan Conder, Alecia Conder, Taylor Conder, Rainee Hines, Maddie Conder and Emma Rae Conder on the way; siblings, Mary Lott, John Conder and wife Kathie, Annie Garduno and husband Robert, George Conder and wife Carol, Helen Roberts, Linda Conder, Herman Conder, Brandon Conder and wife Kendal; several nieces and nephews.

Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, William Carl and Mary Effie (Bradford) Conder; brother, Robert Conder.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jackie Lewis, Ricky Dean, Casey Smith, Kyle Cunningham, Chris Cunningham, Jacob Conder
