Elizabeth "Lizzy" Elifritz Obituary

Elizabeth “Lizzy” Elifritz, 40, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at her residence.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 8th, 2021 at the New Beginnings Baptist Church in Metropolis. All are invited, but there will be a live stream of the service from the church for those unable to attend. 

Lizzy had worked at MAP Training Center, attended Faith Lutheran Church and New Beginnings Baptist Church and was an instructor and dancer at Night Moves Dance Club in Paducah. She also volunteered at Salt and Light Ministry through the New Beginnings church and lived every day to the fullest.

Lizzy is survived by her parents, Curtis and Joy (Keplinger) Elifritz; sister, Melissa Elifritz; brother, Richard Elifritz and wife La’Nora; five nieces and nephews, Jordon, Jalen, Landon, London, and Kaylee Elifritz; and any other family members in eastern Ohio.

She was preceded in death by three grandparents, Ruby Elifritz, John Elifritz and Richard Keplinger; and several aunts and uncles.
