Duane Douglas Obituary

Duane C. Douglas, age 50 of Metropolis, IL, formerly of Dawson, IL, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at his home.

Services will be held at a later date.

Duane was a retired truck driver and a member of First United Methodist Church in Metropolis.

Duane is survived by his mother, Sylvia Williams; one sister, Rebecca Gambell and husband Jay; one niece, Danielle Grapes and one nephew, William Gambell; several half siblings.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bud Douglas and stepfather, Thomas Williams.

Memorial contributions may be given in Duane’s name to First United Methodist Church, 100 E. 5th Street, Metropolis, IL 62960. Condolences may be left online at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
