Dorothy (Sundmacker) Bremer

Dorothy Bremer, age 88, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at St. John Church on Waldo Church Road with Pastor Jeff Bremer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Bremer was a paralegal secretary and a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 63 years, Reuben Bremer; two daughters, Sue Bremer and Kay Jennings and husband Jeff; one son, Jeff Bremer and wife Lisa; four grandchildren, Caroline Currie and husband Blaze, Laura Mitchell and husband Alex, John Bremer, and Allie Jennings.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldred and Elizabeth Sundmacker; one infant daughter, Deborah Bremer; three brothers, Elmer, Lester and Roy Sundmacker.

Visitation will be held from 1 pm to 3 pm at St. John Church on Sunday, December 30th.
