Denelda "Punkie" Ann Beggs

Denelda Ann “Punkie” Beggs, age 75 of Joppa, Illinois passed away at 11:03 pm on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at her residence.

Per her wishes there will not be any services.

Denelda was a homemaker.

Denelda is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gary Beggs; children, Liz Russell, Vickie Cohoon, Helen Currington, Gary Beggs Jr. (Kim), Bernie Beggs (Karen), Leona McPeak (Tony), and Janica Beggs (D.J.); 33 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Denelda was preceded in death by her parents, William Lester “Dude” and Ethel May (Hastings) Blankenship; brother, Aaron Blankenship.
