Darell Keith Holcombe

Darell Keith Holcombe, 68 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Metropolis Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens with Reverend Paul Harrison officiating. There will not be any visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Darell was a truckdriver who retired from Johnstone Supply in Paducah after over 20 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, competition shooting, and was a former officer at the Massac County Gun Club.

Darell is survived by his sister, Virginia (Little) Harrison and husband Paul; nephews, Timothy Harrison (Jennifer) and Philip Harrison (Misty); five grand nephews; a great grand-niece; a great grand-nephew, several cousins, and many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Holcombe, and mother, Dorothy (Leek) Holcombe.
