Craig S. Bishop

Craig S. Bishop, 59 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024 at his home with his loving family by his side.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.

Craig was a hard-working, simple, Christian man who loved his family. He loved watching football and was always the life of the party. He was an amazing father and grandpa and is going to be dearly missed.

Craig is survived by his wife and companion of 22 years, Crystal Redmond Bishop; children, Ryan Bishop and wife Megan, Ashleigh Redmond and Clarissa Ward Bishop; four grandchildren, Bastian Bishop, Dalton Redmond Snyder, Benjamin Redmond Snyder, and Connor Redmond Hammond; his mother, Ella Bishop; two brothers, Rick Bishop (Sherri) and Dale Bishop; 7 nephews; 5 nieces; several great nieces and nephews; in-laws, Clair and Barbara Gail Redmond; and sister and brother-in-law, Victoria and Wayne Snyder.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Bishop; grandparents, Herbert and Nancy Bishop and Walter and Nanne Vipperman; and one brother, Michael Bishop.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.
