Claudetta Lois (Montgomery) Douglas

Claudetta Lois Douglas, age 81 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

Graveside services will be held at 9 am on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the McKinney Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Gordon Montgomery officiating.

Lois was a retired florist and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Lois is survived by her mother, Reba Montgomery; sons, Tom Copley (Brenda), Monty Douglas (Vickie), Daniel Douglas, and Dustin Douglas (Angie); daughter, Elizabeth Douglas; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Lyndia Niedermyer and Tera Yoshimura; brothers, Steve Montgomery and John Tracy Montgomery; several nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her father, H.D. Montgomery.
