Cindy (Dale) Brugger

Cindy Dale Brugger (Boom Boom), 75, of Metropolis, IL returned to her heavenly home on September 18, 2023. She was born on January 5, 1948 to J.B. and Virginia Morgan Dale.

Cindy retired after many years from Vienna Correction Center. She was a member of St. Johns Church and a devout Christian. She loved photography, politics, collection artwork, quilts, antique dishes, furniture, and jewelry. She loved meeting and talking to all people. She had a huger heart and would always stop and pray for someone in need. She loved her husband, children, and grandchildren dearly.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Melvin Brugger; son, Rodney Brugger and wife, Helise; son, Jeff Brugger and wife, Kristen; grandchildren, Nathaniel Dunstan, Emma Dunstan, Levi Brugger, Reis Brugger and wife Alyssa, Emma Brugger, Gavin Brugger, Reed Brugger, Carter Brugger; and many others that she loved and treated as her family.

She was preceded in death and reunited in heaven with her daughter, Lora Dunstan; her parents, J.B. and Virginia Morgan Dale; and her son, Gary Brugger.

Per Cindy’s wishes, she has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
