Christine "Chris" Kendall

Christine “Chris” Kendall, 55 of Brookport, IL, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025 at her residence.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Joppa Missionary Baptist Church.

Chris was employed at Waffle Hut and loved her customers, whom she spoke of frequently.

Chris is survived by her father, Robert Kendall; husband of 29 ½ years, Charlie Harris; sons, Matthew Harris and Timothy Harris; sisters, Theresa Kendall and Lesley Lyle (Wallace); stepbrother, Robert Crossland (Regina); close friend, Dalena Douglas; her beloved dogs, Peanut, Ziggy and Sadie; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jennifer Kendall; grandparents, John William and Nellie Bradford and John William and Johnnie Kendall; brother, Eddie Kendall; half-brother, Christopher McManus.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8th at Joppa Missionary Baptist Church.
