Carolyn (Butler) Fox

Carolyn (Butler) Fox, age 74 of Brookport, Illinois passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2025 at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, September 4, 2026 at Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Quimby officiating. Burial will follow in the Cothran Cemetery.

Carolyn was retired from Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Lora Rodriguez and husband Nelson; grandchildren, Travis Rodriguez (Angela) and Christopher Rodriguez (Kristen); great grandchildren, Isaiah Rodriguez (Aliana), Melina Rodriguez, Kaleb Rodriguez, Kamden Rodriguez, Ireland Rodriguez, and Oliver Rodriguez; step great grandson, Charlie Cope; sister, Josie Bennett; several nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Eugen and Pearl (Skinner) Butler; brothers, Wayne Butler, Billy Butler, Robert Butler, and Roy Butler.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 12 noon to 1 pm at Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made in Carolyn’s name to National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.

Pallbearers will be Michael Gibson, Tyler Wedeking, Nelson Rodriguez, Kamden Rodriguez, Travis Rodriguez, and Chris Rodriguez.
