Billy Ogden Obituary

Billy Wayne Ogden, 65, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at the Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Billy attended Brookport Church of Christ. He was a free spirit, an avid motorcycle rider and a family man.

Billy is survived by his sons, Andrew Ray Shields and Adam Craig Shields; grandchildren, Sidney Lovett, Courtney Shields, Dayton Shields, Faith Shields, Libby Shields, and Danica Shields; sisters, Rhoda Jacobs and Sue Kendrick; brother, Ricky Owens; ex-wife, Sandra Ogden; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ogden and Flo Ogden; sister, Lori Cole; and grandparents, Mary Ehrstein and Doris Ogden.
