Bette Cagle

Bette Cagle age 90 of Paducah, KY formerly of Metropolis passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 at the Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with her family by her side.  She was born February 22, 1929 to Grover Cleveland and Clara (Morris) Ferguson.

Graveside and burial services will be held Tuesday October 1, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens, with Jim Faughn and Adam Faughn officiating.

Bette is survived by her daughter, Pamela, and two sisters-in-law, Mary Bremer and Nadine Abell and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Joe “Squirt” (Bill) Cagle, 2 sisters, Lillian Marie Stewart, and Gladyes Conger, one brother, Cloyce Ferguson and one ½ sister, Mae Ogden.

She was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Paducah, KY and was a homemaker.

Memorials may be given in Bette’s name to the Central Church of Christ Building Fund, 2201 Washington Street, Paducah, KY  42003.

Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
