Anita Jo (Belyew) Burton

Anita Jo (Belyew) Burton, age 86, passed from this realm on January 25, 2025 to a realm where she hopes to get answers to her many questions.

Surviving her are two very special daughters, Chrystal Parker and husband Kerry and Staci Burton and husband Jay Collins; the best granddaughters in the world, Karly Burk and husband Drayke and Katie Barfield and husband Jesse; two precious great-grandbabies, Scarlett Burk and James Barfield.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Bert and Amelia (Miller) Belyew; sister, Marilyn English; brother, Bill Belyew; sister, Madeline Runion; nephews, Derek Williams and Matt English; and her husband, partner, and best friend of 68 years, Doug Burton.

To honor her wishes, there will be no service.  Memorial gifts may be made to Project Hope Humane Society, P.O. Box 125, Metropolis, Illinois 62960.
