Wilma Jean Schriefer, 72, of Metropolis, IL, died on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis with Bro. Wayne Terrell officiating. Burial will follow in Metropolis Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Schriefer was retired from Massac Memorial Hospital after 48 years of service and a member of the Congregational Holiness Church in Paducah, KY.

Wilma is survived by her sister, Phyllis Holt and husband Dale; her brother, Ronald Schriefer and wife Patricia; one niece, Phyllis Travelstead and husband Jack; one nephew, David Schriefer; one great niece, Makayla Travelstead; and one great nephew, Jonathan Travelstead all of Metropolis; several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Anna Belle (Johnson) Schriefer.

Visitation will be held from 10am until the funeral at 1pm on Thursday, August 9th at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.
