William Scott Sullivan 77, of Metropolis passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016 at his residence. Graveside services will be 1:00P.M. Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Liberty Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Bill Schierbaum officiating. There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Mr. Sullivan is survived by his wife Rhonda of Metropolis; three sons, Joe Sullivan (Maryann) of Marion, KY, Jim Sullivan and David Sullivan both of Metropolis; three daughters, Sherry Godfrey (David), Sandra Hall and Sharon May all of Paducah; several grandchildren; and one great grandson. Mr. Sullivan is also survived by two brothers, Delbert Sullivan (Linda) of Metropolis and Jerry Sullivan (Karen) of Golconda; and two sisters, Margie Logan and Carol Schierbaum (Bill) both of Metropolis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Florence Sullivan; one grandson; one sister, Rosalie Whitley; and one brother, Tom Sullivan.
