William Gregory Peck, age 62 of Joppa, Illinois, was born on April 6, 1963 the son of Roy and Cora Lee (Griffey) Peck. He passed from this life on December 12, 2025 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Metropolis Memorial Gardens.

Greg grew up in Joppa, and lived his entire life in the same house he was raised in. He graduated from Joppa High School in 1981.

He worked several years in the home health field until his employment at Player's Casino in Metropolis. Greg was a 1st day hire at the casino which later became Harrah's. He was still dealing cards for Harrah's at the time of his death.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Cora Lee Peck of Joppa and his beloved nephew, Travis Krueger of Metropolis.

Greg is survived by his sister, Janet Krueger and husband JR of Metropolis; his brother, David Peck and wife Lana of Herrin; his niece, Lisa Holt and husband Bryan of Metropolis; and his great-nephew, Jacob Ogle of Paducah, KY.
