Mr. William Michael "Mike" Kruger, age 66, of Metropolis, IL, passed away at 10:51 am on Monday, October 14, 2019 at Southgate Nursing and Health Care Center in Metropolis.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 18, 2019 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Timothy A. Bean officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Mike was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and had worked at Harrah's Casino.

Mike is survived by his father, Lloyd Kruger; one son, Nicholas Kruger; one sister, Linda Derflinger and husband Neville Jr.; one niece, Amy Jamison; three great nephews, Levi, Owen and Evan Jamison.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeannine Kruger.

Arrangements are entrusted to Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis.
