Mr. William A. "Bill" Kineman, age 83, of Brookport, IL, died at 3:40 a.m. on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital. Bill was born on December 21, 1930 to Charlie and Ida Kineman.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at the Brookport Funeral Chapel with Bro. David LeNeave officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Sterling Cemetery in Brookport, IL with Military Rites.Mr. Kineman was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as Staff Sergeant during the Korean War. He retired as Captain at the Shawnee Correctional Center with 30 years of service in the IL Department of Corrections. He was a life member of the IL Police Association and V.F.W. and member of the IL Sheriff's Association and the American Legion.
