Mr. Vernon Earl KinemanVernon Earl "Peck" Kineman, age 76, of Unionville, IL, passed away on December 21, 2014 at Metropolis Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, December 29, 2014 in the Mt. Sterling Cemetery with Rev. David LeNeave officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.Peck was a lifelong farmer in Massac County, working with LaFont Farms for over 40 years.Peck is survived by his sister, Irene Draffen of Brookport; 1 niece, Peggy Draffen of Brookport; his four legged kids, Gretchen, Lady Bug, and Tom; the LaFont Family; and many close friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Ona (Land) Kineman.Pallbearers: Steve Reed, Jim Hines, Kenneth Ramer, Danny Simpson, Steven LaFont, Drew LaFont, John LaFont, Matt LaFont.
